When landscapes such as these are in your backyard, you best make the most of it every chance you get. Tiffany and Dan were wanting to have a few shots done out in the mountains and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. A day out in the gorgeous scenery, spending time with good people, and having fun making memories is among the many things I love about this job. If anyone is out near Widowmaker looking for a photographer, don't be afraid to send me an email!
June 11th - A wedding for the ages! I can honestly say this wedding was one of the most fun weddings I have had the privilege of shooting in my time as a wedding photographer. Nic and Nikita, and all of their wonderful friends and family, definitely made this a day to remember. By 10:15am I had seen a groomsmen's butt, and it wouldn't be the last time that day either; just to give you an idea of how my day went. Congratulations Nic and Nikita, thanks for letting me be a part of your amazing day!
May 21st was a touch on the cold side in regards to weather, but that didn't stop Brieanne and Ryan from having an amazing day filled with celebration, friends, and family. A quick trip down into Edworthy Park made for some excellent shots with this fun group. Congratulations Brieanne and Ryan!
The summer wedding season has now completed its final descent and is arriving at our gate to disembark. Recently I had the privilege of photographing Daniel and Tiffany's wedding at the Calgary Aerospace Museum. Daniel is a pilot, as are many of his friends and family, so I believe this venue was a near perfect fit. Without a doubt this was one of the more interesting locations I have taken photographs at. It's not everyday you are taking pictures of a ceremony taking place in front of an Avro Lancaster MK X, but I count myself in the lucky few who now have. Congratulations Daniel and Tiffany! I had a blast shooting your wedding and wish you all the best in the years to come!
A few months ago I had the privilege of meeting Ashley and Cavan, and more recently I was able to capture some engagement photos for them. Ashley and Cavan are some of the most amazing people I have met in my time as a photographer. Both truly just enjoy life and everything it has to offer and I believe that rings true in all of their pictures. Whether it be peeking from behind their sign or the Bonsai tree wearing it's most dapper suit jacket; I couldn't imagine having much more fun while working. It's captured moments such as these that make me sincerely love my job.
